As a Software Consultant, you will combine operational expertise with technology to guide clients through discovery, configuration, training, testing and successful implementation of the TEI platform.

About the role

You will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation process—leading discovery workshops, recommending best practices, configuring solutions, delivering training, and ensuring clients are set up for long-term success.

The role combines remote work with travel to client sites for onsite training, project meetings and go-live support when required.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead client discovery sessions and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Configure TEI software modules to align with client requirements.
  • Perform solution testing and validation.
  • Deliver administrator and end-user training virtually and onsite.
  • Provide implementation consulting, change-management guidance and best-practice recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Development, Support and Product teams.
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues in complex integrated environments.
  • Create implementation documentation, training materials and knowledge resources.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, club management, recreation, retail or a related industry.
  • Experience participating in software implementations or operational system rollouts.
  • Understanding of Food & Beverage operations, POS, inventory, back-office operations and eCommerce.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, analytical and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a basic-to-intermediate understanding of accounting principles.
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.

Preferred qualifications

  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft SQL experience.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar project tools.
  • Experience with hospitality, club or recreation management software.
