Jr. Golf Software Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver End User Training to small groups of new clients regarding various Total e Integrated application modules; this would also include some troubleshooting, analysis and problem identification of complex, highly integrated client environments
- Delivery of services to customers, ensuring that operational deadlines are achieved
- Document change requests and details regarding application errors for follow up; troubleshooting, analysis and problem identification within complex, highly integrated client environments
- Assist in the analysis of and simulation of client issues related to software releases and procedures
- Design client specific training documentation as required based on clients unique SOPs
- Develop agendas and schedule meetings with clients to facilitate various training and review sessions as required
- Identify departmental gaps and opportunities for increased efficiencies
- Ensure an environment of customer service excellence exists when dealing with all internal and external stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and provide clients approved workarounds/fixes to complex problems
Desired Skills & Experience Requirements
- Superior Presentation Skills
- Prior experience utilizing POS software applications a must
- Experience in configuration and management of complex business applications
- Post-secondary education in Professional Golf Management, Adult Education or equivalent combination of education and industry experience
- Knowledgeable in Private Club operations: event setup and execution, sound understanding and ability interpret various player restrictions and regulations based on member types.
- Thorough understanding of all day to day golf related activities including but not limited to Purchasing and Inventory Control
- Proficient in learning new technologies
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with logical, strategic and non-linear thinking abilities
- Strong and effective communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to convey complex ideas and scenarios into easy to understand processes for users of all skill levels and technical aptitudes
- Experienced in change management and the ability to create value in change
- Able to produce high quality and quantity of work when working under pressure and with tight deadlines within a multi-platform and multi-tasking environment, and able to make fast accurate decisions in line with the company goals and objectives
- Must be prepared to work beyond normal business hours to meet deadlines and as the business requires.
- CPGA designation an asset
- Pro Shop Management experience an asset
- Microsoft SQL experience an asset
- JIRA experience an asset
